Here's quick rundown on what some of my contacts had to say so on the water these days hunt salmon.

Here is my report of Point No Point on Saturday and Sunday:

He was in town to tapper Point No Point on the weekend! We estimated about 75 mooching drift boats, and if you tried to troll with downriggers through the fleet you an earful of bad words you vomit. It was bumper to bumper almost complete boat trying to catch a small hole in front of the lighthouse. There were at least 35 fishermen fishing from the coast as well.

We had a pretty good trip, and caught a nice king over 20 pounds on Saturday hatchery (see photo!) And my friend the right unbuttoned another great king to the boat during the morning bite. On Saturday, we saw about 20 fish caught first thing in the morning on the abuses that took us from Point lighthouse in the bay itself.

We took off at 9 am, the bite and low tide, change according to my friend who has stuck attracted about 30 more fish INTHE early afternoon.

We decided to head back up Sunday morning and it was the same scenario, although the bite dawn just generated a handful of kings.We were lucky and hooked and released a wild king we felt weigh about 15 pounds, and has also published another small Blackmouth.

Later than the morning shift at low tide there was another bite and a good friend told me about 30 kings came and hooked and landed the same three. PNP was probably one of the best places to be on the opener.
